Река Запрудная в Калининградской области — это почти 33 километра водной жизни, впадающей в реку Лава, которая, в свою очередь, связана с бассейном Преголи. Река протекает неподалёку от Правдинска, менее чем в четырёх километрах, а до Багратионовска и Гвардейска отсюда тоже рукой подать. Запрудная не слишком велика, но её длина создаёт хорошую протяжённость для разнообразных рыболовных маршрутов.
Если соберёшься на рыбалку здесь, приготовься к встрече с классическим набором речных обитателей: жерех, уклейка, плотва и язь дадут живой интерес на мелководье, а налим и сом, как охотники в глубинах, добавят азарта. Щука — известный и уважаемый хищник, а ёрш внесёт свою колючую нотку. Рыбалка на Запрудной — это динамичные смены видов и характерных приёмов ловли, особенно если хочешь прочувствовать ритм средней реки.
