This Policy describes how the Service collects and uses information on lure2.ru, lure2.by, lure2.com and in the lure2 mobile apps.
What data we collect
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrica for visit statistics: page views, device type, geographic region, and referral source. Yandex Metrica also records on-page actions (clicks, scrolling, cursor movement) with Webvisor and builds click maps, so we can find what is awkward in the interface. To count unique Telegram referrals, the browser stores a random identifier while the server stores only its irreversible hash. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
- Cookies. Functional cookies keep the site working (e.g., country and unit selection). Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica and Google AdSense. For visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland they are turned on only after consent — the banner asks on the first visit; for everyone else they are on by default. You can turn them off or change your choice in “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. We determine your country from your IP address via Cloudflare and keep only the country code in your browser.
- Advertising. On wide screens the site shows Google AdSense ad units; Google may use cookies to choose ads. Links to fishing gear lead to stores through the Admitad affiliate network, which records where a buyer came from. We do not see the purchases or any payment details.
- Account. Sign-up is currently closed, and forecasts are fully available without an account. If you still have an account from an earlier version of the service, we store its email address, profile data and what you published yourself: photos, fishing reports, spots and comments.
- Assistant conversations. We store questions, answers, country, open-page identifiers, and the city you are near (estimated from your IP address or confirmed by you) to review answer quality. Geolocation coordinates, if you allow them, are used only to find the nearest city and are not stored. We store visitor addresses only as hashes. Conversations are deleted 90 days after the last message.
- Mobile apps. The lure2 apps for Android and iOS open this same site, so everything above applies to them; the app itself collects nothing beyond it. The phone asks for location and camera access only when you use them — to show nearby waters or to attach a photo. App launches are tagged separately in analytics.
How we use the data
The collected data is used to run and improve the service — analyzing page popularity, finding technical issues, planning features — and to show the ads that pay for the free forecast.
Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell personal data. Analytics is processed by Google Analytics in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
Yandex Metrica processes data in accordance with Yandex's privacy policy.

Question text is sent to OpenAI for content moderation and answer generation in accordance with OpenAI's privacy policy.
Model requests go through Vercel AI Gateway; if the main model is unavailable, the answer may be generated by a DeepSeek model at one of the gateway's providers. The gateway processes data in accordance with Vercel's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
To delete your account with everything you published, or other data (for example, assistant conversations), write to [email protected] — we will delete it and reply once it is done.
