Река Изверь протянулась на 74 километра по Калужской области и впадает в Угру, что делает её частью большого бассейна Волги. Она бегает неподалёку от небольших городков — Мятлево расположено всего в семи километрах, чуть дальше Кондрово и Товарково. Эта река привлекает своей протяжённостью и расположением, позволяя легко добраться на рыбалку, не уезжая далеко от цивилизации.
На Извери можно рассчитывать на разнообразие рыбы — тут водятся жерех и язь, которые любят активную игру, плотва и уклейка для динамичной ловли.
