Оно достаточно широко раскинулось среди лесов и полей, что создаёт ощущение уединённого уголка природы. Размеры водоёма дают простор для активной рыбалки и позволяют поймать разные виды рыб, характерные для северо-западного региона.
Здесь водятся щука и жерех — классические хищники, которые оживят любую рыбалку, а также язь и сом, добавляющие разнообразия. Налим и ерш больше проявляют активность в прохладное время года, тогда как уклейка и плотва порадуют любителей белой рыбы.
