Река Рутка протянулась на 33,5 километра в Нижегородской области и впадает в Чебоксарское водохранилище, часть обширного бассейна Волги. Река расположена относительно недалеко от Шаранги — всего около 17 километров — что делает её доступной для тех, кто ищет тихий, но живой водный маршрут с местной атмосферой. Рутка не слишком длинная, но за счет связей с крупным водохранилищем притягивает внимание любителей природы и рыбалки.
На Рутке можно рассчитывать на разнообразный улов: здесь обитают и крепкие хищники, такие как щука и сом, и стайные мирные виды — уклейка, плотва, ёрш. Жерех и язь добавляют рыбалке динамичности — их ловля часто требует активности и внимательности. Налим же добавляет рыбалке характерную зимнюю нотку, если вы готовы к холодам.
