Озеро Задемьянье в Тверской области занимает почти сотню гектаров, что уже задаёт простор для хорошей рыбалки. Оно расположено почти на окраине Старой Торопы, всего в четырёх с половиной километрах, а до Торопца чуть дальше — около 19 км. Такое расположение делает озеро доступным, и при этом оно не слишком тесно связано с большими населёнными пунктами. Масштаб водоёма позволяет почувствовать настоящую просторную природную акваторию, где можно понастойчиво поискать рыбу.
В Задемьянье водится разнообразный набор рыб: от осторожного язя и живой уклейки до хищной щуки и мощного сома. Жерех добавляет динамики ловле, а налим и ёрш добавляют рыбацкой палитре острых ощущений. Рыбалка здесь может быть как активной, так и спокойной, в зависимости от настроя и выбранных снастей — всё же щука и сом заставляют держать удочку наготове. В общем, разнообразие видов делает ловлю интересной и непредсказуемой.
