Большая Казанка — река длиной почти 34 километра, которая протекает в Волгоградской области неподалёку от городов Котово и Петров Вал. Этот водоём не слишком велик по меркам рек, но достаточно интересен своей протяжённостью и расположением в средней полосе. Река привлекает внимание рыболовов, которым нравится разноплановая ловля на водоёмах средней величины в этом регионе.
В Большой Казанке можно рассчитывать на разнообразную рыбу — от пёстрой плотвы и уклейки до хищной щуки и мощного сома. Здесь также встречаются жерех, язь, налим и ерш.
