Озеро Пивки в Вологодской области занимает площадь чуть более 50 гектаров — не слишком большое, но вполне просторное для рыбалки. Вокруг тихо и спокойно, хотя до больших городов рукой подать. Всё это придаёт озеру особый уют и возможность сосредоточиться на ловле, не отвлекаясь на суету. Водоём хорошо известен среди местных рыболовов, которые ценят его за разнообразие и богатство обитателей.
На Пивки водится приличный набор рыб: щука и жерех — активные хищники, которые любят охотиться в прибрежных зарослях, налим и сом больше скрытные, предпочитают глубокие участки. Плотва, язь, уклейка и ерш дополняют картину, создавая интересный баланс хищников и мирных рыб. Ловля здесь держит в тонусе: можно смело пробовать разные техники и приманки, поскольку рыба ведёт себя достаточно активно.
