Волго-Донской судоходный канал им. В. И. Ленина — это длинное озеро длиной около 101 километра, расположенное в Волгоградской области. Оно входит в бассейн Волги и впадает в саму Волгу, что делает его частью важной водной артерии региона. Канал протянулся недалеко от города Светлый Яр, всего в 16 километрах, что удобно для тех, кто не любит долго ехать к воде. Площадь водоёма составляет 404 гектара, здесь хватает пространства, чтобы найти своё тихое место для рыбалки.
Рыба в канале разнообразная: есть и хищники, и мирные виды. Щука, как настоящий хищник, бросается на приманку, а сом и налим добавляют интереса для любителей ловли на донку.
