Ковдозеро — крупное водохранилище в Мурманской области с площадью почти 50 тысяч гектаров и длиной около 48 километров. Оно находится совсем рядом с посёлком Зеленоборский, всего в паре километров, что делает его удобным для выездов с минимумом дороги. Максимальная глубина достигает 63 метров, так что пространство для рыбы здесь немалое, а масштаб водоёма впечатляет — места хватит и для спокойного заброса, и для изучения разных точек.
Здесь водится разнообразная рыба: от бойкого ёршика и плотвы до щуки и налима, а ещё есть радужная форель и жерех — рыба с характером, которая любит активную игру. Рыбалка на Ковдозеро может быть разной: кто-то выбирает ловлю у берега, другие пробуют себя в троллинге или на донку. Наличие язя и уклейки добавляет живости и движения, так что скучать точно не придётся.
